Justice League Snyder Cut
Snyder originally left the Justice League project in 2016 during post-production due to a family tragedy, Joss Whedon oversaw the eventual movie after Snyder’s departure. Now we all know how that turned out, the movie didn’t do well on the box office. A lot of critics didn’t like the movie, This movie got 40% on Rotten Tomatoes and 45% on Metacritic. A lot of fans with actors campaigned for the Zack Snyder version to be released, and fans got their wishes fulfilled when Zack Snyder announced it in a zoom meeting with his fans. It’s still a little hard to believe that the fan campaign that lasted more than two years was really able to accomplish such a feat.
Cyborg’s discarded story
We may finally get to see Cyborg’s discarded story arc. The beloved character (Victor Stone) was first introduced in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. t made sense to develop his story further in Justice League but all we got were some cut-out scenes that didn’t reveal the true depth of Cyborg’s story, which made fans like me upset. he Snyder Cut may finally give fans the Cyborg story we needed all along.
Ray Fisher (The actor who played the role of cyborg) has always been a staunch supporter of the Snyder Cut. The actor praised the director in a tweet for allowing him to ut on Victor’s storyline. The actor added a photo from an unreleased Justice League scene depicting Cyborg turning to look at past self, standing alongside his parents, presumably before his accident. it’s unclear if the scene is a memory or a flashback because the image is in black and white.
I don’t praise Chris Terrio and @ZackSnyder for simply putting me in Justice League.
I praise them for EMPOWERING me (a black man with no film credits to his name) with a seat at the creative table and input on the framing of the Stones before there was even a script! #BORGLIFE pic.twitter.com/hbshWFkxrJ

Back in 2018, Joe Morton, who was cast as Cyborg’s dad, said many of his scenes for Justice League were cut. This was also back when a solo Cyborg film was still on the table. Here’s what Morton said:
“There was [more we shot]. They completely changed the story. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you what [the original story] is because that might end up being in part of the Cyborg movie. Yes, there was a big change once they decided that they were going to do the Cyborg film.”
Snyder’s cut might bring some or all of these Cyborg scenes into the film. That is if Warner Bros.
There is still a lot that we don’t know about this version of Justice League regarding exactly who is responsible for what, but there is, one single change that we know with a certainty which Snyder made in the film. Zack Snyder has hinted that the color of the sky in the third act of the film was changed from blue to red at some point. In response to a fan question, Snyder has confirmed that one change we will see in Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be a change in the color grading.
Seeing all the actors getting hyped up for the Snyder’s Cut means this version is going to deliver what it intends to deliver. All there is left to do is wait for Snyder’s Cut to release and find out ourselves whether this is going to be better than the last one or not.
